Tara Reid started with commercials when she was a kid and then made heads turn when she appeared on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. The acting of her has been scrutinized however she's managed to play the parts she was playing with ease. Within a short time and a few films, she finally got her breakthrough in the form of Bunny was cast in The Big Lebowski. It was an important step in her career. She began getting offers for movies like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. American Pie was the cult film about teenagers who were sexually active in which Reid's character Vicky became a favorite in Hollywood. It didn't lead to a huge, successful Hollywood career. Reid failed to make it famous in Hollywood through films such as Josie and the Pussycats. The brief appearance on screen in American Pie 2 did nothing help her resurrect her career. Her offscreen mishaps, publicized and disastrous plastic surgery, and her numerous flash-and-miss appearances have made her more of a party-goer or designer than an actress.
